On Saturday 9th September ten members of St Nicholas took part in Sussex Historic Churches Trust’s annual Stride and Ride event.

Blessed with beautiful weather, the walkers set off from the village of Bury and travelled along the Arun Valley back to Arundel. Along the way they took in the churches of St John’s Bury, St Nicholas Houghton, St Mary North Stoke, St Leonard South Stoke and Arundel Cathedral before arriving at St Nicholas’. It was a great walk, which raised a good deal of sponsorship money for our historic churches in Sussex.
