All are welcome to attend. Big Clean Help is wanted to clean and tidy the interior of the church and the garden on Saturday next, 22 June, from 9.15am. Please bring cleaning or gardening equipment. Tortington Tea Party This event on Saturday 22 June, from 2.00 pm, is organised as part of the Churches Conservation Trust celebration. It is open to people of all ages. Tea, cake and soft drinks will be available and visitors can enjoy the beautiful church and grounds . During the afternoon there will be musical items performed by the Arundel singers. Summer Festival Service at South Stoke - next Sunday, 23 June All are welcome to attend the Summer Festival Service at St Leonard's Church, South Stoke, at 3.00 pm. The Service will be followed by High Taa in the barn. Come and see South Stoke at its best. Confirmation Classes Classes for adults and children (ten years and older) will be starting soon. Please notify the office or Fr David in writing if you wish to prepare for Confirmation this year. Please give full name and date of birth and indicate whther you have been baptised. Summer Fete This year's Fete is to be held at St Nicholas' on Saturday 13 July. The theme is the 1950s. There will be the usual stalls and donation points will be annonced nearer to the time: meanwhile do start collecting items. The Molica family grew those and, come the summer, they will have cucumbers, basil, lettuce, pak choi, tomatoes, cut herbs, to say nothing of bedding geraniums, salvia, petunias, marigolds, and lobelia for sale. St Nicholas' 'Park and Ride' Service The Arundel Surgery has agreed to allow those attending our Sunday worship to park in the Surgery car park in Canada Road. The Community Bus will pick up people from the Arundel Surgery car park at 9.20 am to bring them to church and will then return them to the Surgery car park after the service. Coronation Jubilee Family Party On Sat 20th April 7pm with The Alternatives at the Cathedral Centre, organised by the Arundel-Stegaurach link. Mission Possible-the restoration of our church building Please pray daily: * for the ministry of St Nicholas Church both locally and in all our wider endeavours; * that the necessary funds will be raised to complete our restoration project; * for wisdom from God in all of our decision making and planning; and * for safety and security for all those working on the site. Tuesday Eucharist The Tuesday evening Eucharist now takes place at 6.30pm, an hour earlier than formerly. Glasses, Crockery and Cutlery People wishing to borrow items from the kitchen for their own events should do so through the Parish Office. Equipment that is required for fundraising and social activities at St Nicholas has gone astray. Raffle Prizes We need quality raffle gifts to be used as prizes for our fund-raising events. If you can help then please bring items into the parish office. Greetings Cards Please bring any used or unwanted cards i.e. Birthday, Anniversary, Blank, New Baby etc. to the Parish Office for recycling into saleable cards. The Alternatives' CD Our band The Alternatives has produced a CD entitled 'With Best Intentions'. It's available free for just a £10 donation to well-deserving charities.
