Arundel First World War Hospital

A hundred years ago St Wilfrid’s Priory, adjacent to St Nicholas’ Church, was a Red Cross convalescent hospital.

Working with Arundel Museum, a local group has been researching the hospital and discovering how Arundel people were involved.

The story is presented in an exhibition at the Museum until the 26 November and entry is free.

To commemorate Remembrance Day on 10 and 11 November, members of the team will be on hand at the museum, after the ceremonies at the war memorial, to give visitors a greater insight into what actually happened.

You are all very welcome to visit.
